On your wedding day, I will travel to your home or venue, wherever you choose to get ready. With me, I will have my portable mirror, make-up chair and everything I need to create your perfect look.
I will also travel to you for your trial.
I am based in Horsham, West Sussex and there is no charge for travel within a 30 mile radius of Horsham. Travel over 30 miles is charged at 50 pence per mile, there and back.
I recommend all brides have a trial 2 – 6 weeks before the wedding but trials for other members of the bridal party are optional. Bridesmaids and Mother of Bride can join the bride’s trial for a free consultation, without trial, if they wish.
You will need to allow about 3 hours for the trial if you are having both hair and make-up.
I have many examples of hair and make-up styles that I can show you at your trial and we can discuss your ideas and preferences. It’s a good idea to keep cuttings from magazines of styles you like, so that we can use them to adapt the looks to your personal taste.
If you have already chosen a tiara and veil or other accessories for your hair, please have them at your trial. If you would prefer to choose your hairstyle first, I can advise on suitable hair accessories.
Hair should be washed and dried in its natural state for your trial and I’ll advise when to wash it before the wedding.
After your trial, I will prepare my time plan for your wedding day, allowing plenty of time, so you feel relaxed and pampered!
I often use hair pieces and padding in my bridal styles if extra length or volume is required. I colour match hair pieces at the trial to ensure I have the correct match for the wedding day. Hair pieces are usually hired but can be purchased if you wish to keep them.
I use top quality hair and make-up products. They include Wella, L’Oreal, TIGI, Bumble and bumble, MAC, Chantecaille, Nars, Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, Dermalogica, Airbase (airbrush foundation), as well as some professional brands.
I also offer hair and make-up for proms and other special occasions as well as general hairdressing. Please contact me for further details.
